    price check

    hi

    i have built two pc's out of parts i had knocking around and some new bits purchased to build them to sell on. am i in the right ball park?

    1st:

    bitfenix collossas micro itx case
    super flower 450 watt psu bronze
    msi A88X AC mobo with wifi
    a6 7400k cpu
    8 gig of corsir vengeance 1600 mhz ram
    120 gig sandisc ssd for windows
    480 gig vertex 2 SSD for storage
    dvd rw
    official oem windows 7 pro with license on the case
    £420 inc 24 hr shipping
    new arts are sandisc ssd, mobo, ram, case and psu and dvd an windows.

    2:

    coolermaster cm690iii usb3 case
    550 watt seasonic gold g series psu
    asus a88xm mobo
    a10 5800k cpu with xigmatic yrt cpu cooler
    8 gig of crucial ballistix tracer 1866 mhz ram
    240 gig ssd for windows
    2 x 160 2.5" hdd for storage
    windows 7 pro official oem with license key attached
    £399 inc
    new bits: mobo, ssd, windows. all other bits under warranties except cpu - this may have some left.

    Dunno about everyone else, but at those prices, I'd just buy new.

    I would add up the price of parts new and then basically half it. no one is going to pay full price for old parts even if you have turned them into a working pc. Or you can look at completed listings on ebay for each part and you'll most likely find your better off selling as parts instead of completed builds.

    yes, i have reflected on the prices. most of the stuff is brand new though and all under warranty, not that that means much. i think that £320 inc and 330 inc is about right
