    A7N8X rev 1.04 bios update for 3200ddr (400)

pre-rev 2.0 this board wasnt set for the (as yet unreleased) 3200ddr so I was just wondering has anyone got the bios update for this board and uses 3200ddr successfully at all? or is it best to just stick with 2700?

haven't tried it personally, but I remember reading there is a little trouble getting the RAM and CPU bus speeds in sync. There is a lot of information on this in the nforcershq forum, your best bet is probably there

My old board would run at 200Mhz FSB but a lot of people were never able to get over 190 Mhz without a volt mod. I would suggest you use 3200 DDR and just slow it down if it won't run at 200 FSB.

A7N8X early revisions (1.04/1.06) were notorious for not being able to reach 200FSB, that's not to say it's law that these revisions wont reach 200FSB, i'd borrow some 3200 from a friend and try your luck before making any purchases.
