    Need Serious Help! Cant Boot

This is a tuff one. Ok, here is the situation. I just got a new case, and video card. So I moved everything from my old case into my new case. But when I booted up, it didnt go passed the bios screen. so i thought that i would put the old video card back in but that didnt do anything. So the problem is that no matter what I do, I can not get passed the bios screen, I have switched the power cords that go into the Hard drives, and changed the ide cables but i still can not get passed the bios screen. All that ever happens is it says the name of my vid card and goes to the screen that says "DUAL BIOS" and it says my processor but it never goes passed that. Here r my specs if u need them:

    K8 Triton K8NS PRO - Mobo
    Amd 64 3000+ - CPU
    2x 512 mb Pc3200 Crucia - Ram
    Western Digital 7200 rpm 40 Gig , Western Digital 7200 rpm 80 gig - H.D.D
Nvidia G4 Mx440 64 mb - Old Video Card (this one is currently in the system)
Verto 6800 GT 256 mb - New Card

I have two optical drives but neither of them r installed bcuz I was trying to see if that was the problem. Please help and thnx in advance
    -Curtis
P.S. part of the mobo may have been scratched, however, it didnt hit any of the sticks or transistors or anything like that, but it got scratched on some letters written on the mobo over by the PCI slots. (This happened when I was installing everything into the new case.)

Hes probably talking about the ones that are printed on the PCB for the components.

    LOL.

Still scratching your mobo sounds careless, and who knows what else happened while it was getting scratched. I remember someone who was having problems with their PC and when I looked at the mobo teh mosfets were bent to buggery...

ok, well it turns out the that the scratches had nothing to do with it. My mobo wasnt reading my ram so i took it out and put it back in and now it worx. But now i have a new problem. I get passed bios and all of my settings but now i cant get into windows. A screen will come up saying that i can boot up in either safe mode, safe mode with network, safe mod with command prompt, last known good config or start windows normally" however, when ever I choose any of these, I can never get to windows. I asked a friend and he said that i should put my old card in and uninstall the drivers, but even when i switched the cards i still couldnt get to windows. Ive also tried to boot from my winxp cd so that i could reformat, but it never gives me the option to reformat. the screen comes up and it loads up all the modules it needs, but it stops when it says "now starting up windows" and I cant reformat...... any help would be appreciated
