    Question k7s5a SM bus controller... driver?

    i need a SM Bus controller for my ECS ELITE K7S5A v3.1 ..... cause i installed the onbaord sound and then i couldnt hear anything then it detected the SM Bus controller??? dunno what that is lol.is it stopping me hearing sound as all settings are set to loudest etc... anyhow has anyone got a link or driver for the SM Bus controller please...

    mmmm sounds likes you not installed the correct chipset drivers.

    also if this is xp your installing then it should have picked every thing up if not then it sounds like a dodgy install to me.

    You only need the one for your motherboard version remeber, shows you under it which version the drivers are for.

    yeh got the onboard sound working. in the end i unistalled the soundcard driver and reinstalled it with one of the above link. can hear the sounds of guns and pain on ut2003 now
