    Audio connections query

If the Shuttle systems have audio ports at the front and back, I have a couple of questions:

Can you connect both at the same time ?

If you can, does one set take priority ?

By that I mean that I'd like to have my speakers connected to the back and then be able to connect my headphones to the front every now and then, so that the speakers cut out, when the headphones are connected.

    Is this possible ?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

It's a standard front audio header.

This means that the front set of connections have priority over the back and pluging in headphones to the front should mute the back (note: this is not the case on EVERY shuttle but on most of the modern ones it holds true).
