    memtest86 and northbridge stability.

    Hi all,

I'm trying to finding the max fsb my memory will clock too on an NF7-S v2.0.
If memtest86 passes with no errors overnight, does it mean that the northbridge is also stable at the given voltage?

    Thanks in advance.

After a few loops, generaly it should be ok.
There are rare times (ive had them myself) where memtest has passed fine, but under OS stress its failed. This dont happen very often though.
Best bet is to also try prime95 after its passed memtest. I usualy leave UT2004 running with a 32player botmatch with it running in the background. The graphics card also gets a workout this way. Infact i cant think of anything that wont
