ThermalRight XP-90 Heatsink - Spare Rubber Strips?

Hi all

Just a quick post to ask if anyone knows where you can get spare rubber strips for this heatsink, the image below shows a screenshot from the instruction manual:



where the red line is, a rubber strip is to be put along the sides of the sink in order to stop fan vibration on the fins of the heatsink. Thing is only one came in the box with the heatsink and there is a slight vibration rattle from the fan hitting the fins. Does anyone who owns this sink have a spare rubber strip or knows anywhere cheap to buy imitation rubber sticky strips so I can stop the annoying rattle?

email thermalright/place you bought it from and say you only got 1 strip and 1 of them should give you some strips for free if they are half decent ppl

I have tried this, still nothing to date from either of them :/ which is suprising as ThermalRight are normally spot on for replies.

You don't really need them. They don't do much.

I do need them as the 92mm fan is rattling like mad off the edge of the fins :/ and its annoying at the best of times. Will just have to email ThermalRight again.

What about trying to get a rubber gasket for the fan itself - that may be easier than getting the rubber strips for the heatsink.
