my home pc (w2k) is normally switched off every night. (too noisy)

my router pc (smoothwall thing) has been up about 15 days now, last time it was 30 days but needed a reboot due to broadband stuffing up. (not the pcs fault, but blueyonder had issues)

my webserver (w2k epia 800) current uptime is about 5 days now but due to the amount and regularity of windows updates, it gets rebooted fairly often.

All my rigs are up 24/7... They're constantly stressed also - either rendering or crunching S@H...

My win2k Record is 157 Days, and it only then fell over because of a power cut.

Wasn't happy i'd have liked to make half a year...

Just had a quick look round my dev room, at recent uptime stats, most are well above 40days avg.

Switch off my desktop rig whenever I'm not going to be using it in the next couple of hours. IE also falls over a bit requiring either a reset or log-off/log-on. I suspend the laptop, never power-cycle, and have an up-time of about sixteen days - the length of time I've had it

My main rig go's off on the night as its too noisy. My server system which is used for downloading ect.. only go's off when im having a bad sleeping night or MS release a update which needs a reboot - so not long.

Servers in the garage are up for months on end before a boot is needed.
Main rig goes off at night as the good lady can't sleep with it on.

I have 3 PC's here that only get rebooted when there is a power cut.

Record so far is 83 days and that's on XP Pro.
