Hello,
I'm new to this forum so if I have posted into wrong section please move it to the right one
So this is my rig:
Biostar TA970 ATX AM3+ Motherboard
XFX ProSeries 450W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor
2x Kingston 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1333 Memory
MSI Radeon R7 240 2GB Video Card will replacing it with AMD Radeon HD 7870 GDDR5 2GB when I fix this problem.
BitFenix Comrade ATX Mid Tower Case
So the problem with my pc is that it sounds like a jet engine/server when it's under heavy load when I play various games to the point where the computer vibrates through floor to the room underneath. My dad got waken up by it's noise yesterday when he was sleeping at night. It was damn loud, like a road work & drilling !
When I was playing some games yesterday, I also have heard twice some popping sound like when you put popcorn in the microwave to make it ready to eat or when some plastic brakes, however it wasn't that loud and computer didn't turned off or anything.
Here's something interesting tho, and I don't know if that makes any difference but I previously had my PC on the carpet but couple of days ago when this problem start occurring I have put some piece of wood underneath the PC and still nothing have changed.
Also both my side panels are bentable as hell since I often take them on/off so you can literally grab them and bent it a bit also it's annoying since it's harder to put them back. However, when I had taken side panel off, my pc suddenly became soo much quieter and it vibrates/makes less noises through floor to the room underneath. Tho, I can't have my side panel off for obvious reasons and one of them are my cats.
Also I don't have any fans in my PC since they are all loud as hell and I have noticed that the CPU Fan under heavy load is making this noises (culprit?) and when I put the side panel on again, the freaking computer becomes a jet engine again. O_o
I think that the problem is with the computer case and CPU cooling. I was thinking about buying aftermarket cooler like Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo which is often recommended but I won't be overclocking anything and my budget is a little bit tight, so I was thinking about getting Cooler Master TX3 since I have a small budget and can't spend more than £20.
Tho, I have only played GTA IV as I didn't played anything else and done some tests for around 2 hours and it looks like the temperatures are how they should be so nothing abnormal:

So what do you guys think I should do to resolve my issue with my PC ?
P.S Why I can't change any settings or edit my profile ?
Cheers
