Price Check - Quite Nice PC.

Right, price check on the following PC:

Lian Li PC65 Silver Aluminum Case: As new, with near silent front and rear case fans, comes with top mounted fan panel mod and Lian Li aquarium side-panel (Water, cathode lighting kit, pump, blue gravel and some plastic fish if that's your bag).

Asus A8V Deluxe rev2.0: Flashed to latest BIOS for full compatibility with Winchester core CPUs. All cables, spare bits of stuff that comes with it.

ATi Radeon X800XT-Platinum Edition: AGP, been running it at 540 Core \ 1.2ghz Mem, will have more headroom. On stock cooling currently, but can supply passive VGA cooler.

Althon64 Winchester Core 3500+: Running at 2.6ghz, 1.475v, cooled by a ThermalRight XP120 and a 120mm Delta Foccused Flow fan. Also have unused stock cooler.

    1Gb (2x512mb) Corsair TwinX PC4400 C25PT: Rated at 5-2-2-2 at DDR400 speeds, in tests has done 282FSB at 8-4-4-3.

460w Silverstone Titanium Black ST46F PSU: Cooled by a silent 120mm fan.

19" Iyama Vision Master 1451 CRT Monitor.

    74.6Gb Western Digital Raptor.

    Audidgy2 ZS 7.1

NEC 2500a Dual Layer DVD Writer.

    Vantec Nexus Fan Control Unit

Silver Floppy: To match the Lian Li.

Razor Diamondback Gaming Mouse w/ SlickSteel stainless Steel Mat.

Cherry 91275 Silver and Black Keyboard

Philips LX3000D Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound System: 5 sat speakers (25w each), active subwoofer (75w), remote control. Dolby Pro Logic, Dolby Digital, DTS decoder 200 Watt, Radio tuner - AM/FM - digital, DVD player. CD-R, CD-RW, DVD, CD, Video CD (NTSC, PAL)

GamePack: Half Life II, Counter Strike: Souce, Theif: Deadly Shadows, Dawn of War, Hitman: Contracts.

As for gaming performance, you can decide for yourself what sort of experiance you'd get from it, but a few scores: 3DMark2001: 28,553, 3DMark2003: 14,306, 3DMark2005: 7,237.

Half Life II was smooth and playable at 1600x1200, all settings and options on highest, 16x AF, 8xAA. Doom III was smooth and playable at 1600x1200, Ultra settings, 8xAF, 4xAA. Display is crisp and clear, sound card, speakers and subwoofer combine to give an excellent audio performance; input devices are geared towards and chosen for gaming specifically.

Lovely system, can't think why you'd sell. Don't think you'll get many peeps putting a price on it though - it's almost impossible. It's like going into a used car lot and seeing an Aston Martin for sale...

It should fetch a couple of grand US or about 1100 pounds give or take 3% depending on condition. You'd get more for it seperately but maybe not enough to justify taking it apart.

Ok lads, thanks for the input. I'll decide on a price then see if there's anyone looking to take it in on go, then, if not, I shall break it up and throw it to the Lions.

No it was the post after that mate, that has now been edited. I did not take the 50p offer as serious.
