    Printers and their evilness

    I am selling my old PC along with my Lexmark Z23 to someone at work and it will cost me £36 for two new cartridges for it. I may as well buy the guy a nice new printer and let him have that instead, as I have seen another Lexmark for sale for only £28. Can anyone recomend a cheap colour printer please.

    I already have decided against evil Lexmark again as it is sooo expensive for the ink. I am thinking about getting this nice cheap Epson as the ink is cheap too.

    Another vote for canon - although I have an Epson and it works fine for me - ink is cheap too. (Mine is an R200 photo printer though, so it's not ~£30 to buy )

    You wouldnt belive the amount of Epsons ive had to deal with, they are so bad in quality, its laughable.
    Please, look at the Canons, they are the best you can buy at the moment. If you get a cheap Epson, it will end in tears.

    I got an epson and the build quality is great, but then it wasnt a cheap one.

    if you are getting epson, best ink i have ever used for them is print-rite and cost about £2.50 for each cartridge, damn good quality

    ps i like epsons, and lexmarks - dont touch, canon - ok!

    Oh my god! i have no experience of canon, but i love epson. Lexmark, dont get me started on it, its the worst make ever! Why do you think dell used to bundle them! The ink costs as much as the printer! One cartridge costs £20, you need 2, the printer costs £30! Jezz
