    Which Noctua fan?

    120mm Noctua NF-S12B REDUX
    Or the
    120mm Noctua NF-F12 PWM

I am stuck, ive never owned a Noctua fan before and i have a cube case ive been working on so want something a little bit more expensive and fancy haha!

So can anyone suggest which of these two would be better suited for being quite? or is there others you would suggest?

    Cheers!

    Re: Which Noctua fan?

F12 is focused flow aimed more for heatsinks, the F12 is a case fan.

That should make the choice simple enough.

Redux are grey instead of the traditional brown/cream and I think may come with less accessories?

I have used Noctua for years, never had one fail, very very quiet with PWM, my games rig is almost inaudible when idle, the gen8 microserver makes more noise!

I had original S12s and they were rubbish, I switched back to the free fans that came with my (admittedly £80) case.
