    Another PSU thread...

just wondering: is it possible to run duel psu's at all?
say for example i had a psu of 300w and wanted 2hdd's, 2 optical drives, sound card, agp8x card, a drive, zip drive, card reader, 2 usb appliances and mobo with ram and cpu on... clearly 300w wouldn't cut it.
    BUT
what if I added another 300w supply to run the optical drives, zip and a drives and card reader, and thus lighten the load on the other psu to run just the mobo, pci and agp devices (and usb ones)? is this possible at all, if not why not?

p.s. I dont have all that's mentioned so don't worry that I'm under powered! i'm ok, I was merely pondering.

its possible , many cases come with slots for 2 psus. You have to wire them up to start together, can't remember exactly how but there are guides about.
