Most likely will be the handling during shipping that's caused it. I believe it's quite rare for damage like this to happen though considering the amount of packaging and protection it has.

There was no damage to the box etc externally. Still waiting on box.co.uk replying. I rang up and was told returns etc can only be sorted via email. Not good service thus far.

I feel the same as you, stuck between the two AMD for future or NVIDIA for now.

With rumours flying around about a possible Vega release coming this year, I think I made a mistake and not waiting another month before purchasing two 1080's.

Then again i thought the speed at which GPU technology increasing to perhaps new releases of versions every year is going to leave me feeling hopeless and bankrupt trying to keep up with the next best thing, but that desire for power and next gen GPU technology and what it means for games keeps me on my feet with decisions on what to do, and might put me on a never ending sell/buy sell/buy loop.

Would say £100-110. Depending on the purchasing party if with or without postage. May I ask out of curiosity, the length of the card please - in case you will end up selling it on Hexus.

Turns out it is actually an Gigabyte Radeon R9 280XOC Windforce (3GB) (GV-R928XOC-3GD) haha. I thought it was a sapphire. My last one was a sapphire. Must have mixed them up.

Well the line came back (on the monitor). Contacted Dell who sent a replacement on Thursday.

However, the replacement doesn't work.Screen just stays black with backlight and the touch buttons (other than power button) don't work either.

Now trying to arrange something with Dell who have become very silent.

They have sent UPS to pick up my faulty monitor (they send a courier the day after they deliver replacement so that you have a box etc to send things in). However, my monitor actually works, the replacement doesn't. Dell has stopped replying to my emails (they were really fast previously) so I didn't return a monitor when UPS came yesterday. I was unsure which one to send and needed Dell to acknowledge they had sent a faulty monitor to me.

No idea what happens now . . . . as I didn't send a monitor back I got an automated email threatening to charge me for the replacement monitor. This is understandable but my problem is that I now have two faulty monitors! The replacement is worse haha. Their phone lines are also closed outside working hours which is why I couldn't get through last night at half 5.
