Impressive engineering. Really clever and they're releasing CPU updates for the FPGA as downloads. That's very cool - downloadable CPUs by the magic of the FPGA.
I loved my A1200 but ... this is 150 Euros for equivalent of a ~100MHz 68060, 128MB (and graphics hardware and SD card too). A Raspberry Pi 3 is £30 for a quad 1.2GHz 64-bit ARM, 1GB RAM.
It's extremely clever and I wish them lots of success, but I think it's time to let the Amiga go to meditate with the guru.
Haha, the amiga refuses to die off !
Since you mentioned the pi, lets compare how far we've come
Amiga 500 - 7 Mhz - 1MB - 1989 - £400
Raspberry Pi - 1000Mhz 512MB - 2015 - £5
..and the pi can emulate the amiga pretty well.

I think some of you are not looking at the fun aspects of it - its like modding an old car when technically newer ones are better in almost every way. Its a bit of fun pushing something old to do things it might have never been intended to do!!
People don't tend to slap powerful engines in old cards for a reason: The rest of the vehicle cannot handle it and it's not cost effective.
This is the same....and certainly not what I'd dust my 'miga out for........although it's a neat idea and I hope they make a few quid from them.
Much cheaper to just turn the sliders up in WinUAE though.
