    fan problems

brought 2 fans for my case (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal...ster_fans.html 2nd one down)

    and

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal...S_Tech_60.html 3rd one down... when i got them the ytech wasnt in any of its own packaging and only came with a 3 pin connector,

and with the coolmaster it came in its own packaging with a 2 headed molex connector ok the problem here is tht theres 2 spaces for 2 front fans which has these blue things i can just click my fan into position but on the back there holes for 2 80mm fans but theres no way i can connect my fan to the case...

Its designed to go in the back of the case near the motherboard headers or to be used with a molex adapter if it won't reach. Different manufacturers included differnet items with the fan, just seems the YSTech is uber basic.

think u dint understand. i meant tht at the back theres holes in the case for the fan to blow air threw and theres 4 holes for something to connect the fans to the case but it isnt for screws

i got a pack of 4 screws with the coolmaster fan but these screws dont fit the fan holes as the fan holes doesnt have any notches.. wish i had a digital camera

basically theres grill holes in the back of the case which is normal, then there r round holes around the edge which im guessing is where the screws go

ok when i place my fan against the grill where the holes r the screw goers threw the case but the fan wont let me screw it in

I think that is because new fans need to be broken in *cough * cough* lol, the screws are self taping, Put more force into it .

I bought some case fans from overclockers and they gave me the wrong ones too, 80mm fans were 4 pin not 3 and the 40mm ystech was akasa.Had to take them back and swap them.

edit: just reread and you didn't get the wrong ones, must just be me!
I also bought this one http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal...a_Fans_58.html
    120mm bottom of page.
Its says not quiet but thats an understatement!
