Motherboard Issues

Hey guys,

Ever since I first built my computer back in 2012 it's always suffered from constant problems. Over the years I've replaced several components but it still seems to be a problematic rig.

I've decided in a last effort to stabilise things that it must be the motherboard which is the result of all my headaches.

So, if I was to look to replace this, what exactly is involved??

Forget it, seems impossible to get a 1155 socket motherboard unless I'm willing to part with hundreds and upgrading to Haswell (or anything else for that matter) is in the £400-£500+ area.

Unless you've got a lot of hardware plugged into it then you should be able to get a new stock replacement for £50-60:

A Haswell i5 and motherboard will cost you around £200 for the basics, maybe up to £300 depending on exactly what functionality you need.
