Hi all,
I've just got a new gaming PC (after not having a computer for over 3 years), and got a refurbished Corsair CG H2100 Wireless 7.1Ch Gaming Headset for audio (Scan code: LN73451).
I charged it and installed the software from Corsair website. But when I used it, the sound keeps cutting out every couple of minutes. Seems to be disconnecting and reconnecting and I can see the volume bar appear on screen when it disconnects and reconnects. I've tried plugging the dongle on the extension cable provided and on different USB ports. Does not seem to help. I assume this is not how a wireless headset is supposed to work? Is there anything I can do to fix this or is the hardware faulty or incompatible with Win 10 x64?
There is also a problem when the dolby 7.1 is turned on, where the sound keeps popping, but I can live with that... just can't handle the constant disconnects. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Edit: Also seem to disconnect when I've got the headset plugged to the PC with the cable provided...
