    How long until?

How long does everyone think it will be before motherboards stop coming with old pci slots? Since I am forced to buy a PCI-e GPU for my next machine I would rather just take the complete plunge and use only PCI-e cards. The first SLi boards are craming the X1 slots between the two x16 slots. It does not look like they leave much room for other cards. And what about the heat?
Those three old PCI slots look like they are eating up a lot of space.

Manufactures need to start making PCI-E parts first
