It's no use for gaming, so effectively it's a second hand office machine. I think £250 is more like it, but if you advertise in the local paper you may get more, judging by some of the prices people ask in there...

I recently built an office machine which had:

Gigabyte mobo (can't remember the exact model number)
    Sempron 2600
    80gb IDE HDD
    512mb PC3200 RAM
    CD-ROM
    Geforce 4 Ti

This came to £260 without VAT and without peripherals, as I had spares, so I'd say for yours you're looking at around £250ish for that, taking into account you have a monitor. Probably best to flogg it in the local paper, otherwise you may not get as much.

    thx
any local papers recomended that are free?
i am askin abt 300 which i think is pretty fair as RDL's machine is abt the same as mine (proc, mem) and pretty much balances out with mine and as my comes with a monitor i think the price is pretty fair.

Umm, the point about local papers is that they are, how shall I put it, local.

There's also Loot of course, but you'll be up against a bunch of others.

If you have got everything with it including a proper version on win xp you could get £300 i reckon perhaps £350. If you have a uni near buy put a poster up there.

The point is it has XP on it, so that's fine. I'd still say £300 max though.

Well seeing as they are fake in my estimation decrease the value by the cost of getting a proper copy.

You can only do that if you brought the system from somwhere like a shop, and you have proof. If a mate built it (ect..), they wont entertain the idea.
