Wish you could get this through ASUS update, but only the German ftp seems to have betas, and that's on 1003.006...

Not that I had any problem with 006, but 007 has got to be more 1337

I know, you have to manually download and unzip and then use the update from file option if you want to flash in windows, havent had any issues and even if you do it has that bios restore from disc by all accounts if you mess it up, though wouldn't like to try it if avoidable

Yeah I much prefer having TWO bios chips like on this current board. However I've done a fair bit of chopping up bios files in the past so I'm a braver man than I used to be. Perhaps I will do a bit of fiddling with the A8N when I get mine up and running.

Nope been running for 3 days, as I said in another thread, make sure you clear the CMOS using the jumper after flashing or else you'll get strange events and lock ups due to changes that have been made conflicting with the saved settings..

Did you take the battery out, like they say, or was that not necessary?

Not necessary mate, just move the jumper to reset position for 10 secs and it clears it properly, just have to go back in and amend the timings etc and get rid of that annoying logo screen :-)
