    Silent Shuttle type..........Where How much

    I want a companion for my SN41

    It's got to be roughly Shuttle size
    It's ideally got to be silent or at least very quiet
    It's got to be cheap...£150 to £250

    Don't care if the CPU is a bit poor like a C3, or the like.....

    Any ideas out there?

    SK41? nice and cheap now! and ya can put a decent (compared to the via ****) cpu in.


    and getting a SK41 means no cross breeding between companions.... Shuttle all the way!!!

    I've tried the Chung-foo-fun thing and the handle didn't really do it for me.

    Do Shuttle sized boxes with silent PSU exist....to buy..I'm not really ready to get my soldering iron out!

    silent PSUs only exist for ITX systems at present...

    Changing fans in a Shuttle PSU isn't that hard at all....agree with XTR get an SK41G.. very cheap atm.

    sv25 full setup - silent (only fan is a 92mm pabst iirc, and its 7v'd)
    comes with a c3 933, 384 meg pc133, cuda IV hard drive (40gigs), sblive soundcard. note ps2/onboard sounds knackered, so usb keyboards needed. its got blu leds behind the grill and is silent, thus ideal as a divx/mp3/download box. looking for offers in the region of £175
