    SLI Bridge - Question

    Hi all,

Currently on the hunt for an SLI Bridge for my second 970.

I know little to nothing about SLI / SLI Bridges.

Am I correct in thinking that only certain SLI bridges will work with my 970's?

On that note, can anyone point me in the direction of a suitable SLI bridge?

    Thanks,

    Re: SLI Bridge - Question

You won't need a high bandwidth one for 970's. If your mobo supports SLI, i think there is normally an SLI bridge in the accesories. (flexi one).

    Something fancier :

    Re: SLI Bridge - Question

Yeah, pretty much any will work. I got a flexible one that will stretch a few slots meaning I don't have to jam the two cards close together, important to get fresh air to that top card.

Cheers, one more question, the 970 has two connectors for the SLI bridge, do I need to connect both or just one?

You only need one bridge for 2way sli the other connector is for a 3 way and so on you get the point.
