    I was thinking of getting a rx580 but after reading all the comments on ocuk i have no idea what to do now

    A number of the most negative comments are from massive Nvidia fans who would never buy a sub £300 card for their gaming rigs,so just ignore some of them.

    You can get a fairly decentish RX480 8GB for between £200 to £250 and there are some RX580 8GB cards in a similar price range too.

    I have zero brand loyalty my previous card before my GTX980 was a 7950 both been good cards for me. For 1080p you can't go wrong with the RX580/480 or 1060 to be honest.

    One thing that slightly disappoints me with the RX580 is the power draw.

    I'm interested in what the RX 550 can do. Yes, for £20ish more you can get a vastly superiour RX 460/560. But I like to always like to hunt for the extreme "budjet" build. I'm also interested in benchmarks for older games. Maybe a strong performer in older titles

    The RX 550 is a good low end card but the RX 460 is superior.
