The only issue i have with logitech mice at the moment is the "feet" there ware out very quickly and one of mine has now taken upon it's self to move from it's placeholder.

I opted for the Razer Diamondback in the end, but this is still a nice mouse.
I have this, agree that the feet are rubbish but in a different way.
On mine the feet were uneven meaning that the mouse rocked side to side slightly. Had to remove 2 of the feet to get it even
If you get in touch with Logitech they have been known to provide replacement feet, having used a MX700 for a great length of time I can vouch for the fact they move, but its a problem with the height of the feet as wear and tear on the mouse causes the edges of the feet holders to be worn down, if the pads were made thicker this would mean the ability for them to move would be greatly reduced, having said that, looking at the underside of my MX1000 the edges on the pad holders are much more pronounced than on a MX700, so I think they know about this problem and tried to do something about it with the MX1000.

MS never suffed with the ms v3 mice, but then they are teflon coated and so last a lot longer.
cheers for the tip on the pads, has a temp mesure i have superglued the one that had broken free back
and ben, mine are uneven, it seems that the qa guys don't check the feet :s
i found that with this mouse, if you picked it up off the surface, when you put it back down there was a delay before it registered..it annoyed me a bit, although i liked the shape and feel
Nice review, tho whoever took the photos could do with looking at noise reduction software
yes tis a very nice mouse.personally when using the mouse at a mates i havent experience ldelay when picking up/putting down... yet alot of people have mentioned it...
Cracking mouse, seems lighter to me than the MX700 I had before. I don't get why people pick their mouse up and put it down again. A lot of people have been moaning about this I guess it's where you run out of space and have to move the mouse back to a central position or something. As this thing tracks on most surfaces you don't need a bog standard mouse mat so unless you have a smallish desk you shouldn't really have any trouble!!! Think that makes sense!!! lol

Mine will track fine if lifted roughly 5mm of my ratpad gs.
Battery life is amazing on one charge - sometimes 3 weeks. Perfect tracking.
After 6 months use my only gripes with the design is the "forward" and "cruise down" buttons (behind wheel) are virtually impossible to use. I would like to see larger back/forward/application change buttons - cos I have big thumbs, look

Have to say that i have no problem with picking it up and putting it down again, doesn't stop working for any time or whatever problems some of you are having
Also, i find the cruise buttons are fine for position but i do have big hands
I bought this mouse today after getting fed up of my m$ bluetooth one. This thing is FAST! When gaming, I have to set the sensitivity to nearly 0 in order to be able to control the damn thing! Other than that though, it feels great and its rechargable battery makes it even more pleasing

I really want one!!! But for circa £50, I might be able to do without, but not for long!! Also wondering, can a matching keyboard be bought (to be used with the same receiver)? I have a wireless logitech keyb/mouse setup at the mo and would like to replace the whole lot, as there is just the one receiver base.

its when i put it down on the move...i cant not pick it up either because at a certain length the angle of my arm becomes uncomfortable and i cant aim ;p if you try picking it up and putting it down on the move there is a delay
