Top pic - outside it looks so neat and tidy...ah, well now, you see - its a bit diffeent on the inside! (please ignore the socks on the radiator! !)
1: Tagan 420w silent
2: 120mm Coolermaster case fan (blowing out)
3: Stock PSU fan - over the top of an AMD64 3000
4: XFX 6600GT (1ghz, 300mhz - stock)
5: All the miles and miles of power cables supplied (by the tagan) stuffed under the optical drives!
6: Grounding Cable attached to a 'pci slot' bolt on case
7: front USB and firewire cables
front panel from the inside
8: all the cables stuffed in their housing - Tagan helpfully provide velcro ties to keep it all tidy...! still manage to make it look a right mess!
9: 2 hdd's, 160 seagate and a 40g WD - directly infront of them on the wall of teh case at the front is a panaflo 80mm sucking [cold] air in.
10: my 2x512 dual channel corsair ram, a load of numbers pop up refering to latencies etc. at start up but I don't know what they all mean some 3's, some 4's.
I tried to keep a decent well around the cpu and gfx card clear for better air flow, hoping I left enough.
This is my First ever build, Comments welcome
one thing I have a problem with is that my cpu fan seems to be trying to take off! i have to get a quiet one, its noisier than all the others put together!

Yeah, I really like the case, how much was it by the way?
Cheiftech Matrix/xp 2600@ 2.3ghz/ Abit NF7 v2/1gb GEIL value dual channel pc3200@ 2.5-3-3-6/XFX 6600gt/80gb Western Digital boot disk/80gb maxtor for storage and games/LG cdrw/Nec 3500A
that looks really good
i think silver bezels for cd drives would finish it off nicely
Lee
scan had it on special last weekend for £29.95 [£35 with vat] - a steal!
I also got replacement PSU at same time so delivery was ok
p.s. note 'AMD64' sticker at the bottom...hehe!

Not bad, but you might want to tidy those cables up a bit...
What's the case like to use? Been after one myself...
Nice rig Shiato. Looks good. I know what you mean about the cables on a Tagan! There are very thick cables, fairly inflexibe and very hard to hide effectively. Have you got space beside one of the drive cages to hide them?
I'm a few days dehind you at the moment. I've just received two 120mm Luxotop R120L Silent fans to stick into my case later this evening in place of the very noisy stock ones. I'll be putting some pics up on here once the rig has been put under some stress (Prime95 and 3D Mark 05) and is completely stable.
Nice
I got the same case, its a great case at a decent price i think.. you need to sort them dvd drives out, they stick out like a sore thumb ~
as for the wiring, it can be a bit tricky, but i did a decent job, it does take a good deal of time and patience, i'm going to get a new board and cpu, i'll take some shots and show you lot.
eughhh at beige drives
and you need one of these for the cabling mess http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=35953
and it wouldnt hurt to learn about cable ties aswell
but otherwise well done old chap, now get it overclocked
