Also im getting Corsair 1GB DDR XMS3200XL Platinum TwinX (2x512MB) with an x800 xl 256mb PCI E GPU..... im just worried that will i need to upgrade my PSU aswell or will a 350 watt PSU run everything nicely.....?

Thank You for any replys much apreciated....

It realy does depend on the psu, the rails and all that junk. Whatever it is though, i would go for a more powerfull tagan psu, or some other good make otherwise there may be problems. Also there seems to be alot of problems with that mobo and if u r just getting 1 ATI card then i would get a something nforce4 ultra, its cheaper but besically the same.

The brand is the most important part of a PSU - stick to decent brands like Antec, Enermax, Tagan, Thermaltake and you should be fine. What brand is the 350W PSU you currently have? If it is generic (or a dreaded Q-Tec), then you should probably invest in a better PSU.

it depends on a lot of things, including the quality of the 350w psu. if its a good one, you should be able to run the pc with that spec and 1 hardrive, 1 optical drive. but i would go for a 460/480W + for piece of mind, especially if you want more hard drives and a second gpu.

as nvening said, ATI cards dont support SLI, so if you think you'll want to run 2 cards, then get an nvidia gpu. if you think you'll only want one card, then go for the nforce4 ultra board

Assuming that the Athlon is Socket 939, it should all work fine.

Also i cant afford two GPU's iv looked at some of the reviews here on hexus and it seems that the x800 xl 265 is by far the best choice for that price range of under £250.. Or is there any better options?

Yep, the X800 XL has the best performance for a PCI-E card under £250 - performance is about as good as the 6800GT, which is about £100 more usually.
An X800 pro VIVO modded to 16 pipes might be about the same, but given that they're no cheaper, I wouldn't personally take the risk.
