    Best Keyb/Mouse combo?

    I'm after a new keyb/mouse, preferably cordless.

So whats the scoop on the best wireless keyboard and mouse combo?

to be honest I wouldn't get a wireless keyboard - what's the point? Unless you are typing on the sofa?

    Best wireless mouse = MX1000
Best keyboard imo - cherry ultra low profile: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...roductID=83437

It's a matter of opinion, I suppose, but I bought the Microsoft Optical Desktop Elite (cordless) and it's been great for gaming.
Athlon 64 FX55, Asus A8N-SLI motherboard, 1 GB TwinX Corsair, X850 XT PE, 200GB Caviar, (also second 200GB HD), 16x AOPEN DVD ROM, Nec DVD RW, Creative Audigy 2 ZS, XP Home, Wavemaster Coolmaster case, 20.1" Dell 2005FPW, Altec Lansing 2100 speakers

I have the Logitech Cordless Desktop MX. It uses the MX700 and a cordless version of one of their multimedia keyboards.

I like it, both kb and mouse feel very responsive, and I haven't noticed any lag ever.

Has Logitech brought out a new version with the MX1000 yet?

Have to say, that was on my list, the MX combo.

OK what if we said wireless mouse and wired keyboard were allowed.

I'd still say the logitech MX700 (or 1000)

Not sure on the wired keyboards though! I guess it depends if you want all the multimedia buttons and stuff! I was quite happy with my cheapy Cherry keyboard I had before this one! Had a good feel to it!
