I've had Thinkpads, Toshibas and Compaqs but none of the ultra light versions.
Any suggestions?
Would prefer something cheap or even 2nd hand, as I'm just going to be browsing the web with it and doing some DivX playback.

The Sony VAIO ultra compact one's are Very nice - the one I looked at had a built in webcam. http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.p...highlight=vaio (although it looks like the pics aren't there anymore - doh!) Some pics here: http://notebook.cz/__/,aktuality,rec...p,recenze.html
I've also had a go with a Samsung something (Q10? http://www.laptopshop.co.uk/samsung-...ptop-2-nd2.htm ) and the Dell Latitude X300 (http://www.computex.ws/img/news/1508/x300.jpg) both very nice. Both of these have a dock which contains the optical drive.
I think these 3 have been around (in the company i work for) for about 12months now, and we've never had any problems with any of them.
