Laptop Processors

Hello All,

Could anyone advise please,
Which is the better processor of the two,
ie, Intel Pentium 4 Htt about 3.0 Ghz.

or, Intel Pentium M about 1.60Ghz.
as I am in the process of looking for a Laptop, max price about £1000.00p.

The P4 will give a higher performance (although the difference between the two is much less than the raw 'GHz' suggests), but the Pentium-M will give you a MUCH longer battery life.
