I voted for phase-change in anticipation of my converted Mach being finished shortly. I also run a pair of VapoChills, but not on my gaming machine, which is what the Mach project is for.

Using the standard AMD64 socket 939 cooler and clocking the hell out of my 3500+ until I can get some new watercooling equipment from work that will allow me to cool my CPU, chipset and 2 x 6800GT cards.

I have 2 x 80mm intake (1 front mounted blowing over the hdds, 1 side mounted directed onto cpu, m/board), 1 x 80mm exhaust plus my psu has a 120mm exhaust and is located directly over my video card.

In a 30+ degrees Celcius ambient room air temp the cpu rarely hits 50C. (mostly days when the ambient air temp is up around 38 - 40)
    (idle 31-34, full load 49-50 @ 30-32C)

I attribute a lot of this to tidy cables, it's like a damn wind tunnel in there

Watercooling: MCW6002 on the cpu, pair of GPU blocks on the SLI (not unlike DD NV68s but not quite the same), eheim 1250 pump, old heatercore I picked up for 5 bob. Not got the chipset cooled, it's jammed down under the top GFX card so not really practical.

Pic of my one of my fancy gpu blocks:

    3 x 80mm Case
    1 x 120mm CPU
    1 x Video Card
    2 x 80mm PSU (quiet)

    Fans for me too.

120mm Intake at the front with Filter
    120mm Exhaust at rear
80mm CPU intake on side panel with filter
80mm on PSU sucking from the case, and one blowing out

Temps run at about 29C and 25C for the chip and case respectively at std clock

Water for me, but I also have a couple of cheapo akasa LED fans running slowly sucking in through the front, and one blowing out the back, to cool everything else down. Its nice and quiet when they're all turned down.
