    Arrow Is my Hardrive busted?

All i hear is my Hard drive groaning, when no apps r running. My pc is running uber slow even after a format. Just wondering if this constant groaning and the red light flashing is the cause, or do some hard drives jsut do that for fun.

PS: Are there any progs out that can check my hard drive?

Try burning out this and running it.

    FTool

Then do a fulll scan! It should tell you if there is any problems. Take a look at the smart info as well. That will let you know there has been any errors on the drive in the whole of it life time

Download this and run the setup with a formated floppy. Reboot from the floppy and run the full test...oh and i wouild back up any thing of value first!

This is a differnet version than the other one i posted. Should work...might not work with SATA discs.
