Power Supply Advice
Hi,
I have the following system at the moment:
P4 Prescott 3.4 (550)
Sapphire X800XT ViVo Pci Express Graphics
MSI NEO2 Platinum 915p/g Motherboard /w onboard Gigabyte Lan and sound
2GB Corsair Value DDR2-533 Ram
250GB Maxtor Diamondmax 10, 7200rpm 16mb cache, SATA drive
80GB Maxtor 7200rpm IDE drive
DVD ReWriter (Hitachi I think)
Creative Audigy 2 Sound Card.
Thermaltake Xaser V WinGo V7000A Case
My power supply is an Antec NEOPower 480W ATX PSU.
Question is, is this power supply good enough for what I am running? I am using the system at the moment and it seems to run pretty well but don't want to risk it for too long if the power supply is insufficient.
I am not technical when it comes to Power supplies so all advice is welcome but please keep it simple hehe :)
If not can someone recommend one that is. Thanks :)

Hey mate, Just noticed about your new rig? 2GB or memory? What on earth must you be running?! You could save money there, even 1GB is excessive at the moment LOL

Hiya :) Sorry have been busy so couldnt reply til now.
Mainly a game called Everquest 2, which eats up the memory like no tomorrow! The difference from 1gb to 2gb was enourmous. Hard drive used to thrash like crazy, now I dont get a peep from it while playing.
Also I do dvd encoging and stuff, assumed more ram might help, and as I had some spare cash, went for bit more memory.
Its also nice to be able to turn off the page file for windows, stops annoying hd thrashing in games, especially the one above hehe.
