    Question SN95G5V2 3D graphics workstation setup - Need advice!

    Anyone noticed Shuttle came out with a 2nd generation SN95G5?

    Anyway. I'm planning on getting one. I do a lot of 3D work including rendering (could it get too hot?). What do you think about this setup?

    SN95G5V2 with:
    * Athlon 64 3000+ (getting a faster one later)
    * nVidia Quadro FX700
    * 2x512MB Corsair TWINX1024-3200XL
    * Seagate Barracuda SATA 200GB 8MB Cache
    * NEC ND-3520 Dual Layer DVD±RW

    The dollar is really low right now, but here in Sweden I'm getting the above setup for a total of US$1,360. Worth it?

    Anyone care to recommend a nice 17" TFT/LCD-monitor (needs to be as portable as possible)?
    I think Shuttle's own flat panel looks sweet, but it's very expensive.

    Well, what do you think?
