Don't you have any old PCI graphics card laying around that you can use?
The card will work, I'm pretty sure of that, the only question is whether or not the system will boot from it, which to be fair it should.
I can't be certain, however
Thanks buddy ill prob get it i want to turn on my computer lol!

Most PCI-E boards have an option in the bios to try PCI or PCI-E gfx card first, just as AGP boards had for PCI/AGP. By default it's set to try PCI first.
I can't see you having a problem.
Perhaps borrow a PCI GFX card off a mate or get a cheap thing of ebay?
Most people have some old card for diagnostic purposes, i have an ISA trident card and about three PCI S3 cards in the attic.
