need a cable for my new 300gb dimondmax drive(didn't come with one).
Went to a computer fair near be and no-one knew what I was talking about.
Is there a diff between diff sata cables in terms of speed etc or will any one do?
where can I find the cheapest one?
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.
I believe they are all the same. Drives dont come with them its the motherboard that does, mind you some manufacturers are a bit tight, only 1 cable even though board has 2 channels. They cost about £3-4.
Price about 3 quids, your local computer stores or Maplin should have plenty of them.
