New system - OC recommendations needed please :)

Overclocking newbie ... well, not touched it since I used to work for a PC Manufacturer many years ago.

Just ordered the bits to upgrade one of my main office PC's (graphics, video and multimedia design use):

Abit IC7 Max3 m/b
P4 3.0GHz
OCZ PC4000 Dual Channel 2 x 512 MB CL3 DDR EL Memory
Antec True Control 550W ATX PSU inc. 5.25 Control Panel
Maxtor DiamondMAX Plus 9 120Gb OEM SATA 8MB Buffer
Waterchill KT12-L20 CPU / VGA / Chipset Cooling Kit
Chieftec full tower case

+ other old bits going into the new PC:
Matrox Parhelia 128Mb graphics
24" Sony w/s monitor
2 x 22" Iiyama VM Pro 510
etc....

Now the question is - can you good people point me in the right direction as to what settings I should use. I'm not into days on end of tweaking but want good stable performance as fast as I can go

well, i started raising the fsb on my rig, to the point it got unstable, then backed it off a bit....

Watercooling an office pc ;-) how integral.

EDIT: did u check wether the gpu waterblock will fit on the matrox cause i havent come across one which i made for those cards.

Korky - no, unfortunately looks like the GPU waterblock I got from Asetek won't fit (but then I suspected that anyway) - got it as part of the full kit. I'll probably sell it on.

Acidrainy - Parhelia works pretty well - OR at least it did until I powered up the PSU with main power connector disconnected (but forgot the aux power connector) to test the waterchill system - loud pop/fizz and a bit of flame/smoke and the Parhelia was toasted!!! One of the small IC's got a little hot!
