I wonder what it is about power requirements about fabs that means that they can't protect their power supply economically. I remember a few years ago a brownout causing something similar. I guess it's the massive power requirements and cost/benefit decision.

Sound a little suspicious to me,places as large as that usually have backup generators and even at that they wouldn't need to
power the whole factory.
