what other laptops can we buy like the MV Ixius?

i would like something like the mv ixius which has been review here but preferably of amd flavour

i dont think i can get one with as high a spec unfortunately so what other options do i have which is built on the same kind of chassis as the mv ?

i dont need anything flashy with gay custom paint jobs !

cheaper than the mv would be nice and dont need one with as fast a cpu but must have fast and high end everything else (in laptop terms)

must have a large high quality widescreen , wifi, possibly bluetooth , the hitachi 7k60 7200rpm hard drive or 2 :d , dvd burner or 2 , pci express graphics so it can be changed in future

i want a high res 17 inch widescreen preferably , pci express graphics card

what are the slowest pci express cards for laptops (read the cheapest) because i have my pc for main gameing so spending less on the graphics and upgradeing later would be better for me

what will the slowest processor be that i can have with this if it was the same platform as the ixius with the new pentiums ?

Please don't rule us out yet, we are hoping to be able to offer an AMD 17" chassis with kick ass graphics in the not too distant future!

do you by any chance know if it will come with a tv tuner built in ?

will this pentium m be far of the mark of the p4 560 or whatever is in the ixius when it comes to compression like winrar and audio and video encodeing ?

For compression and video encoding, the P4 560 will win hands down every time. There's just so much more 'grunt' in there. Hey, we could do "MV, computers with plenty of grunt"!

Pentium M has lower power requirement, that's its main plus point.
