Problem with my External HD Enclosure

I've had this for about 4 months now, I bought a USB2.0 & Firewire model as i have a laptop without USB2.0 but also wanted USB for the future.

The past week or two the drive doesnt show up on windows when using firewire. It use to just come on fine like a normal plug & play device. But now the enclosure shows up and not the drive.

I've messed around with the connections and they work fine when using USB1.Slow.

I knew i forgot something, I thought about that before but forgot to try it on my sister's laptop. I'll try it out now

Now even USB is temperomental
