Well I have a CG clawhammer (1MB cache with newqy controller effectively) and under a Prommi Mach II GT I get 2860MHz stable and 2.95GHz Bench.

Under air it was ~2400ish and under water I expect around 2500-2550. A newcastle I would think perhaps an extra 50MHz maybe a bit more.

Of course every chip is different...

As Firelord says every chip is different.
My 3000+ Newcastle peaks around 2.45GHz on the stock HSF but I know a guy who got 2.8GHz on the stock HSF from a 2800+.
    Suck it & see time.

My newcastle is pretty stable at 2600ghz with stock cooler, if i was mostly instrested in overclocking i am sure i can manage more with better ram and cooling, currently using scan's generic pc3200.
