How many people have got 333mhz RAM to run at 400mhz?

Hi, I'm replacing my motherboard shorty with hopefully a nf7-v2.0 (i'm sure you willl back me up on getting it). I have 1gb of 333mhz standard crucial RAM running at 2.5T, I know there are other variables such as heat and so on, but do you think it's possible to get it to near 400mhz, have any of you guys managed it?

My TwinMOS stuff would, although I never bothered testing it as the CPU ran at 333 so I kept it synchronous.

My Twinmos RAM does too - It's a 512MB pc2700 CL2, which will do 208MHz at 2.5-3-3-7 (but I use 2.5-3-3-11, as it's a nForce2 board...) at stock voltage. I would increase the Vdimm, except that it would instantly kill my computer (a known fault with the sn45g).

Whats the code of your crucial. I had some of their pc2700 that ran fine at 3200. It was CT6464Z335. (Still got a 512mb stick sitting on my desk.)

Ive got a stick of samsung here which is pc2700 (DDR333), which is capable upto 230fsb ifi ts kept cold.
Most ram will overclock alot, just add some more voltage - I wouldnt go above 2.9v or the point where theram starts to get hot/overclock gets affected by heat..

So to get a higher fsb with the ram I may have to push up the voltage a tad, what is the stock voltage for ram? Also I have 4 80mm fans all running of the antec 'fans only' molex which seems to be running them about 1/3 of the speed, but they still push a little bit of, that would ok wouldn't it. I also have a system exhaust blower which I can add to the equation if necessary, but I don't like too much noise. ALso a question on the northbridge fan, I know it's a bit dodgey, where is the best place to buy a good, passive heatsink, or are the newer nf7 chipset coolers better and quieter than the old ones? I used the Zalman NB47J from Thecoolingshop on my NF7S. It ran at 220fsb 24/7 without a problem. Its under £6 there but out of stock though atm. They are great to deal with as well if you decide to buy from them

Have to agree, the Zalman NB47J is the way forward. I have an Asus A8N-SLI motherboard at the tiny northbridge fan is noisey as hell, doesnt help that it is about 20mm and runs at 8k revs per minute.

I've just got rid of three NF7-S V2.0 I had all running at 400 FSB. 2 were on corsair value select PC3200 and the other was on XMS 3500. Could get a little higher with the XMS

What could hold me back here is my:
Cooling
Psu(Antec true power 330w, but i only have one hardrive, 2 optical)
pc2700 obviously
Barton 2600xp
I don't particularly want to go into risky terriotory, but without having to mess with voltage and stuff, how far should I push before knowing when to stop(should i lower the multiplier, or would it not bee worth it because I'm not going for UBER clocks). At what point to you thing I should up voltages and would that be risky?
