Apparently not on all of them, I know that for myself and at least six other people there is no such delay..

I was the one that wrote the review for the site, it was my first one so be gentle with me

I have used the MX1000 for over three months now and have not had a single issue of delay on the lifting that many have reported, when writing the review I can always consider the other views on the device, but as a reviewer I am writing what I beleive to be a true reflection of a product in use. I have used the device on an average sized mouse mat and not had any problems with the alignment of the device nor the speed at which it responds to being lifted. In all honesty there would only be a few applications where lifting the device during use would become a neccessity in real life, but each person uses the device in a different way.

Like Stoo I had tried and tried to replicated the problem I had heard so much about, but I can't report in a review about something I could not personally replicate. The review I did was based on my experiences with the device and was a pure reflection of my personal true findings. If I could replicate it I would have written about it in the review and taken issue with the problem, but as other have said, as well as myself, the issue many reported was a non issue for me.
