    Testing a modem - phone number required

    I'm giving away one of my PC's to a friend and have just installed a modem in it. The problem is that I don't have a number that I can dial to test it. Thus, does anyone know of a suitable number that I can call that will test the V90/V92 capabilities of this modem?

    I just need something that will answer, negotiate and connect. I don't want to log in to anything.

    Yeah, just use Hyper Terminal and dial your mobile with it.
