Possible performance drop on Nv GPUs due to win 1809/416 drivers

I really hope this is some driver bug:

    Edit!!

There seems to be an issue:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comm...ussion/e7moxv5

There seems to be a performance loss down to combination of the new drivers and the latest Spectre/Meltdown mitigations in the 1809 patch.

    Re: Seriously,Nvidia??

Well to my unpractised eye, if I hadn't seen the graphs/figures, I couldn't see any meaningful difference between the two screen halves.

Maybe if I was watching on a big screen and not a recoding but any difference is too subtle for me to see.

I think your comment might have stuttered just like some of the worse frametimes/FPS in the graphs!

    Re: Seriously,Nvidia??

OK,I looked at some feedback on this:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comm...text=8&depth=9

There seems to be a performance loss down to a combination of the new drivers and the latest Spectre/Meltdown mitigations in the 1809 patch.

Changed title to refer to new info.
