    Lan party case

I'm looking to get hold of a new (hopefully cheap) case. Small and light, with a side window if possible. This system would be used for lan parties and the main issue is weight. My uni is built on a hill, so the thought of trying to heft about a thermaltake V1000+ is not entirely appealing.

I'm planning to take a bunch of components I've got kicking about
    - some from my primary rig - and bung them into a much smaller and lighter case, leaving me with a half-decent machine for lanparties.

I would be looking to install the following components in the case :

    A7V8X-X mobo - ATX format
    MX440 Gfx card
    2500XP+ CPU
    550W PSU
    80GB WD HDD

This means I could leave my main gaming rig a home, and have a nice little system for lan parties.

    Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry, but that's too much. Something more in the £20-£30 range please.

And as for the PSU, it isn't a Q-tec. It's a Jou Jye Electronic (whoever the heck they are).
However, it's survived a fair bit of punishment and I've had no problems with it (had it for a year now)

Jou Jye appear to be a German firm, but I couldn't find any clues as to who actually makes their PSUs. They also make rackmount cases and other bits.

    Specs are:

    Model Output Voltage Power
    +3.3V +5V +12V1 +12V2 -12V +5VSB +12V3 +12V4 Range
    JJ-550APSA
    JJ-550AUSA Min 1.5 5.0 1.5 1.5 0.0 0.1 1.5 1.5 550W
    Max 24.0 24.0 9.0 9.0 0.5 2.0 15 8.0

Looks rather low on the 12V line... (British understatement).

Sorry but table won't post correctly

Those are very good specs. Looks like it has got 4 12v rails. And no it is not low therotically they total 41 amps but i don't think it would be that high more like in the region of 35-40 max

I'd say it was a PSU aimed at the server market.

It's probably OK with most systems, but people using SLI/RAID/FX55 type systems would probably find the individual 12V rails were too low.

Sorry, but it's a wee bit hefty at over 12kg.
