Intel is denying this report.Update October 22, 2018@3:30pm: Intel has denied ending 10nm on Twitter. The full tweet is, “Media reports published today that Intel is ending work on the 10nm process are untrue. We are making good progress on 10nm. Yields are improving consistent with the timeline we shared during our last earnings report.” SemiAccurate stands by its reporting.
fyi its 3 days till Intels Quarterly earnings report.
is this another case of Elon Musks favourite activity in stocks - short selling? whack out a report saying company in trouble just before major announcement that affects stocks..

That's really not his style. He rants a bit and acts like Nvidia shot his puppy but basically Charlie is a reporter, and by modern standards old school. Chances are he has not just heard some rumour but has had it verified.
OTOH Intel can't disclose anything interesting just before an earnings report, so are legally obliged to say all is OK whatever is going on behind the scenes.
Cancelling it would seem rather odd as haven't they already released a 10nm part, i mean it's pretty forlorn sitting there all by its lonesome but it's out there.
How is Intel still ahead of AMD in market share? Amd has been beating Intel for the past year with their great prices and cheap motherboards
