If MCE 2005 isn't working, its more likely to be the TV Tuner, or the lack of it.

I am having the same problem... did you manage to sort it out?

Windows XP runs fine, Media player 10 can play music and videos fine. When I load Media Center an error pops up "Your video card or drivers are not compatible with media center." But media center continues to load and will play music, but refuses to play any videos. This even prevents the setup completing fully.

I have no desire in buying a graphics card as the one onboard is great for everything else.

I saw on another forum, that users of the SN41G2 range had solved this problem on MCE 2004 by updating the bios shared RAM to 64Mb, but this has had no effect, neither has 128Mb.

I have not installed a TV tuner but I can't see why that should be a problem...

i am open to any ideas or thoughts my spec are below:

    Shuttle SN41G2 V1
    2x crucial 512Mb RAM
    Maxor 200Gb HHD
2x 19" monitors using NVIDIA geforce4 MX Integrated GPU
Onboard Nvidia 5.1 SPDIF Optical sound output.

I appear to have answered my own question to some extent...
After hours of searching becomming more convinced it should work I have resorted to "fiddling" hoping it would spark a wave of enlightenment...

It hasn't but something has worked as MCE 2005 now plays videos and launches with no errors.

    All I have done is:
run windows update, nvidia audio update recieved
downloaded shuttles VGA update found at:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Tim\Desktop\Shuttle SN41 Updates\Shuttle SN41G2 Updates.mht
although readme.txt quoted driver to be the same a already installed V 4.1.1.4 Installed over old installation

opened Display Properties -> settings -> advanced -> adapter clicked properties
then driver and clicked update driver and let windows see if it finds a better driver, which it did (you can tell as it starts copying files!). Restarted, via bios, and checked settings, put fan to auto.

F10 restart and now it works!?

I'm not quite sure which step made it work but it does! Do let me know how you get on, and if you have any further problems installing a TV card
