MSI are going to organise a 2nd Dec '18 London Motherboard "Test Drive" Event

The guys at MSI contacted us today about a kind of Motherboard Overclocking Road Show that they're going to run in London on Sunday 2nd Dec '18

In essence it's an chance for Overclockers, to chat to the MSI team and give them feedback.

They will have the Z390 motherboard product line there (shock news)..., and are interested in some harcore feedback across the day on VRM designs, Memory Overclocking and fine-tuning & best pratice on Multi-core overclocking

    Date: 13:00 2nd Dec, 2018
    Venue: 94, Judd Street - Kings Cross London - WC1H 9NT

We've got a lot of pretty devoted PC people here, who live and breathe O/Cing daily... (I was one.. once....looooong ago ...that was a while ago.)

It's INVITE ONLY, so you will need to apply online BEFORE turning up.

    https://uk.msi.com/Landing/intel-z39...ng-motherboard

Look for the section called "Join MSI Z390 Test Drive"

If its literally right up your street - apply, go and have a play and a chat!

Typical - one of the days I'm not around!

Plus they'd give 30% off the mobo but not the CPU. Kind of leaves a lot for the person to pay for. Still sounds like a good event however if you were looking to get intel and not support AMD (who IMO deserve my money more).

Intel own the cpu's ;-) not MSI....but you don't need to buy one to join in!

They will have everything there - you can have a 30% discount as an extra for joining in!

I think this is going to be a day to share brain power/skill/knowledge !!

I read it as: if you're selected you get 30% off for doing a review of the mobo on a tech site based on your usage. Which I assumed to mean after you'd got the mobo, but do they mean during the event? If so that's much easier to commit to.

Not sure.... This is a chance to go talk hardware and work a bit with MSI to make better hardware. But it does involve a review yes, it seems
