Need new CPU, Motherboard, Ram & GPU For 3D rendering & Autocad work

Hi all, need a bit of help with speccing a new motherboard, cpu & GPU for a friend's home business (wedding cake design!). They use 3dsMax, AutoCad and photoshop, apart from photoshop I'm not familiar with the other software so have no idea where best to spend the budget so please could folks who know give me some pointers.

Budget available is about £600 but could be pushed further if needed. All the other components are sorted or transferable from the old dead PC i.e SSD, PSU, case etc.

    Cheers

    Jim

Ryzen 7 2700x is great for your budget and will work fine as it got 8cores and 16threads.

I use 3ds max daily as part of my job and just built a new 2700x rig, but put together a 2600/16gb ram and 1070 for £606. If you wanted slightly more mulit core performance you could swap out the 2600 for a 1700x.

Edit: the price has actually dropped now to £597.89, so even better!
